It’s Monday morning and you have to go to work, although some unpleasant events happened over the weekend and it would be better to take some time off and stay at home to spend time with your family to help them get through the past few days.However you avoid calling your boss to ask for time off and decide to go to work.
Once you get to work you feel stressed because you left home and maybe you didn’t make the best decision (to come to work) and you start thinking about how to solve the problem, which affects your ability to do your job properly.
